I am so proud of KC Entrepreneur Club...( also, the volunteers)

As of yesterday, there is only another 800 more bags to go...

4000 Bags to the current 800 left.. You gals did a great job..

The 4 participants of this competition.. you all went through alot.. All the arguments, verbal fights and so on.. It's going to pay off soon.. You all have truly brought glory to KC as well as the Entrepreneur Club..

Hopefully you all can be in the top 3 for this competition..

Continue working hard okay? Will always be proud of you all!!

KC ENTREPRENUR CLUB MAJOR PROJECT: SEA OF BAGS!

This is a project by 4 members of KC's Entrepreneur Club. The team has designed an exclusive, limited edition green bag with really adorable and cute animals on it. There is also a caption to remind us of our responsibility to animals. The bag is environmentally friendly and they believe an invaluable asset especially with the current emphasis on the 'use of recycled bags', 'ban plastic bags' and the 'BYOB day' and in mitigating global warming.

Futhermore, the team's aim is to sell 4000 bags and earn $15,000 for SPCA by 20th Sept 2008.

So, Please support them as they embark on this project which would change the lives of 800 animals that are being abandoned every month!

Each bag is selling at $5.

KC Students can get these bags from their fellow schoolmates/classmates. There are quite a number of volunteers who are helping to sell it.

On certain weekends, members and volunteers of this project will also station themselves outside Parkway Parade. In the coming 3weeks, they will also be heading down to United Square Shopping Centre, setting a booth in the mall itself. So when you do see them along the streets, please help them and get one of those bags.

Your help and support is greatly appreciated.

All proceeds will go to SPCA. No amount will be deducted for our Club's usage.

I just came back from my Perth trip few days back!

Thank god it was fun! If not I'll be very sad that I didn't attend the event on 8/June!

Well, it seems fun & it looks fun from the pictures posted! :D Haha!

Actually I wanted to change the blog skin, but I didn't as it wasn't completed.

My sleeping timings are getting weirder & weirder!

Hi all. I wanted to update at 6plus but stupidly, i forgot the username n didnt have the time to go check. So dat makes me the last to update.

okay so, congratulations to the new committee. We have tried to put together the club for the past 2 n half years n now, its your turn to bring the club to greater heights. Do your duties well n lead the club well. We definitely do not want to come back to kc 1 day to visit n find out that the club isnt doing well or maybe, even worse, closed down.....(touchwood)

So really, do it n do it WELL.....Dats all i have to say n we will try to make it for the camp in june to maybe have lunch with u gals or help out abit? We'll see how okay? love all of you more than anything.

Today during CCA, we chose the 2nd batch of committee after Me, Alina & Reg "worked" for 2 years alr.. since ard 2006 mid yr to now 2008 mid yr. so fast, so many things happened. GD & BAD... forget alr some.. but still ya... haha(:

Anyways, Reg blogged abt the new committee. THANK YOU GAL! So, respect ur NEW committee okay! haha:D The results were kinda surprising.. our 2 votes didn't exactly work but actually, I'm quite pleased with the results. THIS IS RIGHT. haha!

On the 23rd and 24th of November 2007, we conducted our 1st Entrepreneur camp since 2006(:

We played many Fun Activites and learned/realised many enriching morals thru it all. We believe it will benefit us in our future journey through competitions or simply setting up a booth in school or in public, as for example, we learned TEAMWORK!
To us, a TEAM means Together Everyone Achieves More:D

The Seniors got together to organise the entire camp for the members. Nevertheless, the juniors had a chance on the 2nd day, to organise a game each just to have a taste in conducting games as well as to use it as a platform for them to showcase their leadership potential and organisation skills. In this camp, everyone had a chance to express themselves, voice their opinions and of course, to get to know one another better.

On the 1st night, the seniors and the teacher in charge conducted a interview regarding 2008's Committee for the 4juniors present. The rest will go thru the interview on another day during club CCA Days(:

During this camp, we know it is not SIMPLY about having fun(Through that's Important to many of us!haha), but it is more abt having to learn from one another and learn from our mistakes. We have also learnt about each other's strengths and weaknesses so if we work together the nxt time, we will know how to help each other in points of weaknesses rather than to pick and complain abt them. Furthermore, we must always be honest and serious when it comes to work.
Honesty is the best policy.

The Forum yesterday was quite okay. We listened to some success stories of SP's past students and some of the current projects the students of SP- Business did, such as setting up their own self-run stores, etc. For example, The Bag Lady at Bugis Street(: SUCCESS!! :D

Oh yes, IT'S NOT ANY FAIR!): hahaha. Joking la.. but yeah.
Students get to do a NEW Subject- Introduction To Enterprise, for their O'Levels. It will be carried out by Singapore Poly Lecturers.
Nowadays, the newer batch of students are so lucky. haha.

BUT, they have only implimented it in 2 Secondary Schools so far. HAHA Too bad for upper sec? Cause we have already chosen our Subj Combi.

We left after the entire forum ended and after talking to some SP student helpers, ard 5plus.

It's interesting to say that
the birds are always there when the suns sets
but never there when the sun rises,
but as soon as the sun sets the moon's arrived
shadowing the night's stars away
the stars and birds alike?

but why is it that it's the sun and moon that depicts the chase
between the sun and birds in the day
and why does the sun shine with all her heart
when the sun fears the night yet in a very special way
and the sun's gone,
even when there're no stars
but there were birds to follow on
it's day time but the sun shines in the day time
looking for night time to come home.

It's hard to believe that
shadows and light are the same things
only dark and dimpbut only dimp because the shadows
hide the blazing flame it seems
behind the masks are two bright light,
sone pretty cream and one polish white;
two things that looked the same,
yet so differently conveyed
One spoke the truth and one spoke the vain,
yet it always follows the truth
for the truth cannot be hid
because darkness is vivid
and for the light to bid
But it's painful to know that
a promise of your own is always unbroken
yet a promise from others is just a token
everyone keeps hoping would be turned into wills,
which will never be bill sunpaid or forsakenand yet a song like this is a great big lie,
that choruses and chimes cant vie
for some promises were meant to be for the sake of
